Rockhopper Penguin and Finch

A new week at the boudoir is always accompanied with new delivery boxes containing wonderful collections for the boudoir! This week is no exception and the box was rather big.. 

It contained two SS15 collections from our favourite fun and flirty designer, Mimi Holliday. 

We have the most gorgeous pastel green collection by the name of Finch and the second is Rockhopper Penguin, a beautiful polka dot collection with the most amazing choice of knickers. Whether it's a cheeky high waisted number, or teeny tiny thong we have something for you! 

I have three favourite things about these two collections, this will no doubt mean I have to indulge myself in not only one set per collection but variations of knicker styles and bra shapes to satisfy my every whim! 

The first is the high waisted knickers, in my opinion the most flattering shape knickers on the market. What makes these extra sexy is the deep band of sheer lace, glorious in both pastel green and polka dot mesh. 

The second is the plunging shapes. Finch has a padded version with stunning lace overlay to create the plunging neckline and in Rockhopper Penguin comes in a completely sheer, thick strapped number. Both incredibly sexy and flattering. 

And the third, has to be the suspender belts. I love when a set comes with a suspender belt and 9 times out of 10 I will always wear the whole outfit. Rockhopper Penguin's cut out version is an example of Mimi Holliday's more fashion forward designs and Finch's deep lace belt is a nod to the playful vibe Mimi Holliday is adored for. 

Which ever look you prefer you will definitely find a winning combination in amongst one of these stunning sets!

Summer is coming, it's swimwear time!

I can't quite believe it, but it's happening.. Summer is just around the corner!

Say Hello To Spring

Gorgeous sunny rays have been lifting everyone's mood across the capital this week. Winter always seems to last for an eternity but it feels safe to say that spring is just around the corner! 

What better way to celebrate the new season than to inject some lovely pastels into your lingerie draw? 

On the first official day of spring, Simone Perele's Amour landed on our doorstep in the most stunning mint green with delicate ivory lace. It's the perfect pairing for any light greys or crisp white shirts that will be filtering into your outfits in the coming weeks and I for one can't stop dreaming about it. 

As many of our Tallulah ladies know once you find that perfect shaped bra, and it makes an appearance in a beautiful new colour there really is no question, you have to have it in your life! As a current owner of the Amour in charcoal I know exactly what's top of my list to indulge in next..

So Shell Belle..

It seems that every season Shell Belle evolves to become more exquisitely luxurious than ever before. I don't know how they do it but we fall in love with their beautiful pieces time and time again. Maybe it's the perfect ratio of silk and lace that lures us into being totally obsessed? 

The boudoir plays host to our favourite pieces from the collection. It's a stunning display of slips, full length trailing gowns, pyjamas, sheer shirts, soft cup bras and cut out knicker sets. They all house their own individual details making each piece feel special, my favourite example is the subtly structured soft bra and cut out tie knicker set in both ivory and black!
Combine these delicate details with the Shell Belle palette of the softest greys, ivory, almond tones and rich black and you really can't help but swoon..
